INDIAN NAVY UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME-2010

1. Indian Navy Offers an opportunity to young students in the final year of Engineering degree courses through the University Entry Scheme-2010( UES-10) to become Commissioned Officers in the Technical Branches of the Indian Navy(Short Service Commission).

2. Following category of students may apply for:-
a) Engineering Branch:-(Men Only) Mechanical, Marine, Metallurgy, Production, Aeronautical.
b) Naval Architecture Cadre:(Men & Women):- Naval Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Aeronautical.
c) Electrical Branch(Men Only):- Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Power Engineering, Control System Engg, Power Electronics, Computer Science Engineering.

3. Minimum 60% marks in aggregate till 6th semester.
4. With an age group of 19 to 24 yrs( between 02 jul86-01 jul91).
5. Good physique, height( Min) 157 cm, Eye Sight 6/24 Correctable to 6/6 with glass.6. Good character.

Procedure:-
a) Interested candidates may apply in plain paper as per the format so as to reach their office by 6th Aug 2009.Address:-Command Recruitment Officer, Headquarters, Southern Naval Command, Naval Base, Kochi-682 004.
b) Short listed candidates will be interviewed in the campus in your locality from Sep- Nov 2009.
c) Qualifying candidates will be invited to appear before Service Selection Board (SSB) from Dec09 to Mar10.
d) Selected candidates will be offered commission in the rank of Sub Lt and Training will commence in Aug 2010.

sir ,i have attended for psb interview under UNVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME which was conducted by Indian Navy and iam waiting for the result whether i was eligible to attend ssb and also can you tell me date at which the ssb interview will conducted
