WCDMA-Node B team is hiring for its Node B program in Bangalore


UMTS Node B is a logical node in the Radio network subsystem like BTS in GSM, It is responsible for transmission and reception of radio frequency signals to/from user equipment. 
NodeB terminates IuB interface towards RNC. Node B can support Frequency Division Duplexing(FDD), Time Division Duplexing(TDD) or dual mode operation. 
This team in Bangalore is responsible for design, development and integration testing of UMTS NodeB.

The Node B - ISS team

The Node B - ISS team handles Functional testing for the new enhancements/Features, Basic NodeB bring up and sanity testing, regression, stability and performance testing, support of network level testing and First office Application field installations (FOA),development and support of in-house and third party tools/simulator environments.
We are looking for energetic, self driven candidates with experience and/or strong interest in the network element (RNC or NodeB) testing, should have strong understanding of Telecom protocols with experience in any (UMTS, CDMA, GSM, GPRS) wireless domain – UMTS experience in the areas of NBAP, RRC protocol in Radio access beares, backhaul transport ATM or IP and UMTS/NBAP message flow is desirable.

WCDMA Node B –Call Processing team works on WCDMA Call Processing mainly involving NBAP and ALCAP Protocols. The team charter is full ownership including Requirements Review, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, Pre-Integration and Support until DR5. The team has full ownership of the Call Processing Module. The Call Processing is C++ and Vxworks/Linux based and is compliant to 3GPP Specifications.
